I shouldn't be awake right now. In fact, I probably shouldn't have gone out snowboarding today. I couldn't sleep last night, I didn't sleep well the night before and I've spent 4 out of the past 6 days on the slope. The powder was all gone today, my body ached from my bruised rib and sore legs, but how does it happen that I manage to have one of my favorite days out on the slope?
Riding with Gardner might have something to do with my giddiness. He is one fun boy to play with. He likes to ride down fast, and he loves to fly jumping through the air. Joe and I joined up with him for our first time ever snowboarding together, and his first time at Brighton.
Fun times were had by all. I'm glad to know that Gardner shares our tree habit with us. :D His friend from Northern California, Jubles, met up with us a bit later and we had a good time with him too. Unfortunately, Jubles somehow lost his keys and had to get a ride back home with Gardner. His mom is going to send him a spare set, thank goodness.
Here's to good friends, good snow and good clean fun!
